      Broadcasting with XSplit Broadcaster.

      1. Adding own3D Channel
      • Go to Broadcast -> Edit Channels
      • On the right side click "Add" -> "own3D"
      • Username – your own3D username
      • Password – your own3D password
      • Quality – set quality to 6. Do not set quality 9-10 at high resolutions.
      • Max Bitrate – select the maximum video bitrate you want to stream with, we do not recommend the maximum bitrate to be higher than 1500kbps.
      • Buffer size – do not change this.
      • Resolution – set it to "Default Mixer Resolution"
      • Audio Encoding – we recommend 44.100 KHz Stereo with MP3 codec.

      2. Click on "Apply" to save settings.

      3. Go To "General" Tab
      • "Optimize for motion picture" must be activated
      • "Disable capture of layered windows" must be activated.
      • "Boost Capture Framerate" must be activated
      • Other checkboxes should be inactive if you don’t know how to use them.
      • Audio – select your microphone.

      4. Adding Desktop Area to stream
      • Select "Scene 1"
      • Click "Add" -> "Screen Region"
        • To select whole screen just click once on the desktop
        • To select part of the screen click and drag the frame

      • On your preview picture you will now see the selected screen region – stretch it to full size by pulling the borders or click on the preview and then press key “1” on your keyboard and it will be automatically stretched.

      5. Stream Settings
      • Go to "View" -> "Resolution" and select the resolution that you want to broadcast with. If your resolution is not on the list go to “Tools” -> “Settings” to the “Resolutions” Tab and activate the resolution that you need. The selected resolution will then appear on the list.
      • Go to "View" -> "Framerate" to set your broadcast FPS. We recommend 25 FPS.

      6. Going Live
      • If the preview picture is too big you can scale it down by going to "View" -> "Scale Viewport". This is also better for performance during broadcasts.
      • To start your Broadcast click on “Broadcast” and click on the channel where you want to stream to, e.g. "own3D - my streamname". The stream will go live after you click on your channel.
      • To stop broadcasting go again to “Broadcast” and click on your channel name.
